Public rental cabins are available in several state parks.

Cabin Fees
Afognak Island, near Kodiak $35 per night
Birch Lake, near Delta Junction $15 per day for ice fishing huts
Byers Lake, near Trapper Creek $35 per night
Caines Head, near Seward $50 per night - accessible by boat, plane,
or foot trail.
Chena River, near Fairbanks $25 or $35 per night - can be reached
by car
Chugach State Park, near Anchorage $40 per night
Fielding Lake, near Delta Junction $25 per night
Grindall Island, near Ketchikan $25 per night - accesible by plane
or boat only
Kachemak Bay, near Homer $50 per night - accesible by plane or boat
only
Nancy Lake, Wasilla $35 per night - can be reached by car
Oliver Inlet, near Juneau $25 per night - accesible by plane or
boat only
Point Bridget, near Juneau $35 per night
Quartz Lake, near Delta Junction $25 per night $15 per day for ice
fishing huts
Salcha River, near Fairbanks $25 per night
Shoup Bay, near Valdez $50 per night
Shuyak Island, near Kodiak $50 per night - accesible by plane or
boat only
Thumb Cove, near Seward $50 per night

Cabins can be reserved up to six (6) months in advance of the
first day of intended use.
Cabins may be used only by those who have a reservation and have
paid the rental fee. You must have your permit with you during your
stay at the cabin.
Reservations are accepted only when the full amount is paid. Payment
can be made in person or by mail.
Cabin fees are used directly for maintenance of Alaska State Parks
public use cabins. |
